Belgian Justine Henin beat Russian Sveltlana Kuznetsova 1-6 6-4 6-0 to reach the finals of the Dubai Open Championships. The match took 1 hour and 54 mins.
Nervous in the first set, Justine played as poorly as she possibly can while the Russian played her best tennis. She blew off Justine 6-1 in the first set.

In the second set, everything changed and momentum went the other way. Justine started to play better tennis, made fewer errors, but it was still a close set where long deuce points came into play, each looking for their serve,coming back from break points which lead to a 4-4 tie. Then, the set broke out to Justine and she took the set 6-4
In the third set, Kuznetsova started to be less aggressive and played a lot of unforced errors and gave many breakpoints to Justine. Justine however, played flawlessly, like Roger Federer, who made some amazing shot making and lots of terrific plays. She bageled one on Kuznetsova to win the match from being down 1-6 in the first set to winning it 1-6 6-4 6-0.
“It was strange, I started very well and ended up bad, and she was the opposite. She got so much into it and played unbelievable, and me, I got worse. I didn’t have so much attention to the ball and got a little bit tired mentally.” said Svetlana Kuznetsova
“I was a little nervous,I knew she had a lot of motivation and I could feel she was really on the court to give me a hard time.”
“Slowly, in the second set, things changed and that allowed me to come back into the match.” said Justine Henin.
