Stepanek Eases Through in Memphis

It was closer than the score would indicate, but you would never know that by watching Radek Stepanek after he dispatched American Bobby Reynolds in straight sets at the Regions Morgan Keegan Championships on Wednesday in Memphis.

Stepanek never looked nervous as he saved all four break points he faced in the 6-3, 6-2 win.  Instead he served 68% on first serves for the match and broke Reynolds on three occasions in the one hour and seventeen minute duel at this week’s ATP 500 indoor event.
Reynolds has his four break points early in the match, but Stepanek answered each one with a outright winner.

Stepanek the No. 3 seed this week is a former finalist in Memphis and he now moves on to face American Ryan Sweeting on Thursday.
