With an easy 6-1 6-2 win over Michaella Krajicek, Patty Schnyder reached the second round at the French Open in Roland Garros. The Swiss needed only 57 minutes to beat the 17-year-old player from the Netherlands.
In the first match of the day on the court, Philippe Chatrier, the seventh seeded Swiss, started optimal into the match. She broke Krajicek to a 2-0 lead and won the first set in just 28 minutes. The second set began similar to the first with an early break for the Swiss, who dominated in all aspects. With her strong serve, and her tricky game, the Swiss was definitely too strong for the young Dutchwoman. Patty hit 9 aces, 28 winners and made only 2 double faults.
In her second round match on Wednesday, the Swiss will face Jarmila Gajdosova. The number 100 ranked Slovakian in the first round beat the local player Stephanie Cohen-Aloro in three sets. Patty never met her so far.
Hello! I know this is kinda off topic but I was wondering which blog platform are you using for this site?
I’m getting tired of WordPress because I’ve had problems with hackers and I’m looking at alternatives for another platform.
I would be awesome if you could point me in the direction of
a good platform.
